Our Story

The heart of Flatland Custom Cycles is a motorcycle veteran like no other, Scott Thomas. Scott was a café racer pioneer in Chicagoland during the heyday of motorcycles. After serving his country as an airplane mechanic in the USAF 305th Bomb Wing and later as a Licensed Airframe and Powerplant technician for the airlines, Scott returned to his most passionate of disciplines, motorcycles. Whether building a custom chopper, or a vintage restoration, his uncompromising spirit is evident in all his creations. Flatland Custom Cycles took up the Gazi banner out of our own need to build motorcycles with the highest quality parts that wouldn't balloon the cost of projects. Unable to source a suspension product in the US that would both meet the performance Scott demanded and the budget of café racing customers, we looked overseas. The answer was with Gazi Suspension. So impressed by the quality, performance, and fit and finish of Gazi products, Flatland Custom Cycles became the exclusive distributor for North America.
